BSA A65L, 1970

Thanks to Mark of Australia for this picture of his bike.
Mark has had A65s since 1972, before that a 1950 A10.
This particular bike is his main transport used every day. The motor is a 1970 A65L, its now 883cc with a 90degrees Norton crank and alloy cylinder that he made himself.
It's pretty tall geared with C/ratio 1st and 2nd giving about 78mph and 105mph at around 7,000. The motor is rubber mounted so it's quite smooth.

Uppercut trellis for the gas tank ground, closed by a sort of alloy burr fused to the bottom with a square pipe, jointed to a bar under the steering column, that is the point where the cradle takes shape. The squared pipe itself is linked to the frame via a small crossbar. Inside the small crossbar there are a hose and a threaded disk to create a hollow for the gastank.

NORMAN HOSSACK

Triumph Trident 900 in 1994. Its engine provided an ideal mount for the lower wishbone.
Its handling was too light and quick for a british bike. That Triumph was the last HOSSACK.

Strike two, second Bertone Mantide ready to kill you even if you didn't have sex with her

As the color is mat white, it shouldn't be difficult for you to guess the owner is from the Middle East.
We should actually be happy it isn't golden or chromed.

Unfortunately the mat color kills all the reflection which, believe me, are one of the main ingredients of the Mantide aesthetic.

Oh well, I can live with that, bring it here...

Not my pictures this time, here is the source.
If you want to know more about this car or have a better look at it in its original red tone, have a look at my IN THE FLESH experience. Like being kidnapped by aliens!!!

ROBERT HOLDEN SUPERMONO 1994

This is a Ducati Supermono "Robert Holden " race at IOMTT in 1994. Now his owner is a certain Jon, and he has ridden his bike just a couple of times because the extreme lack of spare parts and their cost, absolutely high. He says the cost of this bike is about 130.000 euros for some samples. Ducati cares for its past jewels...

Different mapping from 100 to 150 to 193 bhp, rain mode, sport, race, slick , traction control, ride by wire, abs... what's the cost to loose the feeling between your hand (and head) and your engine and go wide open with your gas thinking it's so easy......? I really prefer to have 3 bikes from 110 bhp at rear tyre to 150 to 170, and as you know, that's it !!! Reparto Corse n. 6 refuses off this treatment of overload of elechtronics, because don't need in the real world we ride ( maybe this generation abs on the road and on sport tourer cycles, but not on track, maybe the next generation abs I'm gonna evaluate...).

I still stand on two stroke, bad ass student !!!

SPOT

Buon divertimento a tutti.
Enjoy with the monography on Lambo Countach, a window on italian art and society of 70's and 80's...I hope the first of a good series about pure and genuine pureblood on 2 and 4 wheels produced by Reparto Corse numero 6.
ciao!!
